Happy Singing

Fifth grade students have shown their ability in singing English songs. This activity is done to refresh the learning activities in schools therefore the activities are not too anxious. This activity was held in order to make students enjoy learning the language since alternated by the songs they like. The purpose of this activity in addition to assess their English pronunciation, this event also aims to make them more confident to perform in public.

Think globally act locally

Polisi 1 is a state elementary school located in Paledang Bogor. The strategic location makes this school is well known by society. Besides the location, the school provides facilities which support the teaching and learning process to make the learning activities more interesting. This school has 27 classes start from first grade to sixth grade with a large number of students study in there. With the support of the teachers, Mr. Endang Sumarna, the principle tries to do his best to make this school is an ideal school not only for students but also for teachers, school employees and parents. The use of modern technology in this school doesn't make this school forgetting the regional culture, for example by holding the extracurricular lodong bogoran, suling and pencak silat.  Different from other schools, this school provides three different use of languages those are Bahasa Indonesia, English and Sundanese. With a new program, bilingual class, it hopes that the students who study here will be able to understand and speak English well. Students who study in here are think globally, but act locally.
